Nick Clegg’s new Colourition!

9th February 2011.

As Nick Clegg faced dismayed students yesterday to explain his about turn over student fees, almost drowning in the pre-prepared ‘notions of a conditioned man’, my thoughts turned to the’ lotions of a conditioned man’ and more precisely Nicks new hair colour.

Ginger! Hang on a minute I thought – was n’t his hair black?

Now in danger of the tag ‘Ginger Nick’ , I wonder if he will ever return to his original version, if his principles are anything to go by then I think not.

A spokesperson later revealed that Nick had agreed to have his hair coloured ‘black’ at the beginning of April 2010 but in 2011, mid colouring, the hairdresser had a change of heart and decided on ‘ginger’ instead.

A hairdresser also commented that whilst he had intended to use a ‘black’ colour, his 2 colleagues had wanted him to use ‘red ‘ . The hairdressers finally agreed on a ‘coalition’ of colours and it came out ginger.

‘When you don’t own the full salon, you sometimes have to agree to the majority – even if you think it is wrong, and sometimes when two colours are unexpectedly mixed….. well the results can be quite unexpected too’ They said.

I Second that Hair Lotion!
